How do I track the shipment of my order?

After your order is shipped you will receive an e‐mail notification which provides tracking information and order details. If your order includes multiple items, some items may have separate delivery dates and tracking information. Returns

How do I return a product to Lincoln?

Returns for items purchased through the Lincoln Electric Online Store must be initiated by the buyer within 30 calendar days after receiving the product. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories and instruction manuals.

Prior to returning an item, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization number from Lincoln Electric. We can be reached at 1-888-610-9206 to initiate a return. The Return Authorization number must be used on all correspondence, and must be included on the return address label of the package when an item is returned. Items must be returned to Lincoln Electric within 15 calendar days after the buyer receives the Return Authorization number.

If the item is not in new condition, or if items are missing, the credit will be adjusted accordingly. Lincoln Electric will issue credit, through the method of original payment, after the item has been received and inspected.

Shipping costs for returned items will be free for items that were delivered to a distributor. For items shipped to the buyer’s home address, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs to return an item to Lincoln Electric.

ENGINE DRIVES: Engine drive machines must be in new and unused condition to be returned. The machine is considered used if fuel has been added to the fuel tank. The battery must be disconnected for the machine to be returned. If the engine drive was picked up through a distributor, it must be returned through a distributor. If you wish to return an engine drive machine, please contact 1-888-610-9206 to initiate the return process.

What payment methods do you accept?

The Lincoln Electric online store allows customers to pay with Visa or MasterCard. Payment for products purchased through the online store must be fully paid for before The Lincoln Electric Company will accept any order. By paying for products through the online store, you are expressly agreeing to all terms and conditions in the Terms of Sale.

Shipping Options

What are the options for shipping my order?

  • Other delivery options are available and require transportation charges. The amount of the charge will vary based on the weight of the products in your order and the shipping service you select. A freight cost matrix is provided for your reference.
  • All shipments are made full on board (F.O.B.) to the point of shipment. Title for products in the shipment is transferred to the buyer at the time the carrier accepts the shipment. If problems occur during shipment, Lincoln Electric Customer Service can assist you with filing a claim with the carrier. If you want to file a claim, you must notify Customer Service within 10 calendar days of receipt of the shipment.
  • Your order will ship within 24 to 48 hours after being accepted. Actual delivery will depend on the shipping service you select. Lincoln Electric offers four fast and dependable shipping methods. Shipping charges will be applied based on shipping service.
    • Ship to Store ‐ There is no charge to have products shipped to a participating store. Delivery is typically within 2 to 5 business days. You will be notified when the product is available for pickup.
    • Standard – Delivery typically occurs within 2‐5 business days after shipment. Shipment is sent via ground transportation.
    • Expedited – Second Day ‐ For an additional charge, an expedited shipping service is available for shipments under 150 pounds. Orders received prior to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time are normally delivered within two business days after shipment.
    • Expedited – Next Day ‐ For an additional charge this expedited shipping service is available for shipments under 150 pounds. Orders received prior to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time are normally delivered within one business day after shipment.

  • Lincoln provides Parcel and LTL transit maps to allow you to estimate time of delivery for ground shipments. These are estimates based on available transit time standards provided by participating carriers. Lincoln also provides a tracking number for each shipment. You may use this number to retrieve the most up‐to-date shipment information from the carrier.
  • For any additional questions regarding your order, shipment or delivery, please contact Lincoln Electric Customer Service at 1-888-610-9206. Press 2 when prompted.Customer service is available Monday‐Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
  • Orders are accepted for shipment within the 48 contiguous United States.
  • P.O. Boxes will not be accepted as a ship to address.

    • Not all shipping methods are available for all products. Items that are too heavy or bulky to ship via parcel service will be delivered by a truck with lift‐gate service (Less than Truckload, or LTL, service). The driver is only required to make a curbside delivery. It is your responsibility to arrange transportation from the curbside. You will be required to be present at the time of delivery and sign for the LTL shipment.
    • Shipments may require a signature from someone at least 21 years old (government-issued photo identification required) at the delivery address. In these cases please present a government–issued photo identification where the last name and full address (including the suite or apartment number, if applicable) on the government-issued photo identification match the last name and full address on the package.
    • A full street address is required to ensure proper delivery. Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
    • Lincoln Electric assumes no responsibility for a carrier’s late deliveries. Lincoln Electric’s policy is to ship within 24 to 48 hours. Transit estimates are provided based on carrier information. Please contact Lincoln Electric Customer Service for assistance in tracking and expediting shipments.

Shipping Locations

How can I find my nearest store location?

During the check‐out process you can use the Distributor Locator tool to enter your zip code and select the Search option. A map and a list will present a list of distributors nearest your zip code. Your order will be delivered to the distributor location you select. If you want to find a store before you check out, the Distributor Locator is available at the top of each page in the Lincoln Electric Online Store.

In Store Pickup

How do I pick up my order from a distributor?

After your order has shipped, you will receive an email from Lincoln Electric onlinestore@lincolnelectric.com which states your order is ready for pickup at the store you selected during check‐out. At time of pickup you will be required to show the “ready for pickup” email and/or your order confirmation receipt. Authorized personnel at the store pickup location will also request a valid photo ID.

All items in the order must be accepted when you pick up an order at a store. If you decide you don’t want one or more items in the order, you must accept the order, then call Lincoln Electric Customer Service at 1-888-610-9206 to arrange for a Return Authorization. When the authorization is issued, you can return the item(s) to the store and receive free shipping.

Warranty

Is my Lincoln Electric welding machine covered by a manufacturer warranty?

Lincoln Electric welding machines have a three‐year product warranty which covers parts and labor. An extended warranty may be purchased to increase the warranty term by an additional two years.

Note:Engines, battery components, and air compressors are warranted by the manufacturer of those products.

My welding helmet/auto darkening filter is not functioning correctly. How can I get it serviced?

It is within the warranty period. Our contracted service facilities can submit a warranty claim and get the parts needed to repair your welding helmet. You can search for your local service facility available by clicking here or you can speak to Customer Service by calling 1-888-610-9206.

What warranty coverage is there on my welding gear, such as gloves and Red Line™ apparel?

Red Line apparel products are warranted against manufacturing defects.Because applications vary, it is the user’s responsibility to select the right product for each application. RedLine apparel products are not subject to warranty after use.
